When you send a message to someone through the Gibberish Secure SMS/iMessage app, the recipient will receive an encrypted message right in their SMS/iMessage screen.
In order to view the message, the reader must swipe their secret pass pattern on the screen and leave their finger on the screen. As soon as their finger leaves the screen the message is encrypted again. This will make sure that you and only you can see your private messages.
Never look at a message and have someone pick up your phone and see it again.
Other systems let you type in a password or use your thumbprint to see a message, but ......if you put the phone down the message could still be visible.
This "FOR YOUR EYES ONLY" type feature is exclusive to Gibberish and patent pending.
